What's New

CDPHP Tops in New York!

  • U.S. News & World Report/NCQA America’s Best Health Insurance Plans 2009-10 has rated CDPHP the top health plan in New York state! Five CDPHP plans were among the top 25 health plans in the nation encompassing commercial, self-funded, and government programs populations across New York state.

Behavioral Health Transition

  • Effective Jan. 1, 2010, CDPHP will be taking an innovative approach to the coordination of members’ behavioral health care, with a new Behavioral Health Access Center. The contact number for behavioral health will not change. Members may continue to call 1-888-320-9584 to arrange mental health and chemical dependency counseling. Learn more about this transition.

Coast-to-Coast Coverage

  • In 2010, most CDPHP Universal Benefits, Inc. plans will include national network access as a base benefit. Members will have access to more than half a million providers across the U.S. In addition, Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan, Inc. will offer a travel rider to extend national coverage to HMO members. 1
