CDPHP Tops in New York! 

  • U.S. News & World Report/NCQA America’s Best Health Insurance Plans 2009-10 has rated CDPHP the top health plan in New York state! Five CDPHP plans were among the top 25 health plans in the nation encompassing commercial, self-funded, and government programs populations across New York state.

Behavioral Health Transition

  • CDPHP is taking an innovative approach to the coordination of members’ behavioral health care, starting with the opening of a new Behavioral Health Access Center in 2010. Seasonal Flu and H1N1 Vaccines Covered

  • CDPHP provides full coverage of both the seasonal flu and H1N1 vaccines. No prior authorization or copayment is required. CDPHP will reimburse both participating and non-participating providers at its participating provider fee schedule for the administration of the H1N1 vaccine. CDPHP continues to follow the recommendations of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), as well as local guidelines within our service area.

Young Adult Through Age 29 Law

  • A new young adult through age 29 law is taking effect upon contract renewals September 1, 2009 or later. Learn more about the law at the New York State Insurance Department Web site.

HIB Vaccine Booster

  • The CDC and NYSDOH have reinstated the 12-15 month of age Haemophilus Influenza type b (HIB) vaccine booster dose, after a period of deferment due to a shortage. Read more
