• U.S. News & World Report/NCQA America’s Best Health Insurance Plans 2009-10 has rated CDPHP the top health plan in New York state! Five CDPHP plans were among the top 25 health plans in the nation encompassing commercial, self-funded, and government programs populations across New York state.

Welcome, Behavioral Health Clinicians

• Since Jan. 1, 2007 CDPHP has partnered with United Behavioral Health (UBH) to deliver behavioral health benefits. Beginning Jan. 1, 2010 we will be managing these services in-house. Learn more about this transition. The contact number for behavioral health will continue to be 1-888-320-9584.

HIXNY e-RX

• The Health Information Xchange of New York (HIXNY) has introduced a standalone e-prescribing solution free of charge through 2010 for interested physicians in the Greater Capital Region and Northern New York. E-prescribing technology can improve the quality of patient care, increase patient satisfaction, and increase efficiency in physician offices.

H1N1 Vaccine Reimbursement

• CDPHP will reimburse both participating and non-participating providers at its participating provider fee schedule for the administration of the H1N1 vaccine. Providers will be expected to follow the patient prioritization guidelines of the CDC and Department of Health and should use one of the following codes:  G9141: Influenza A (H1N1) immunization administration or 90470: H1N1 immunization administration.
