MedSolutions Assists CDPHP with High-Tech Radiology Program
CDPHP® is partnering with MedSolutions®, an NCQA-certified radiology management company based in Nashville, TN, on a high-tech radiology services notification program effective Oct. 1, 2009.
Notification is requested for outpatient elective MR, CT, and PET studies prescribed for CDPHP members in all plan types. MedSolutions is not denying coverage based on this program, although they may redirect cases to CDPHP if contractual benefit review is required.
The goal is to collect data and offer education about CDPHP clinical guidelines.
Getting Started
To submit notifications, provider offices are encouraged to use MedSolutions’ 24/7 Web portal. A simple login procedure will be required upon your first visit. Alternative methods of reaching MedSolutions are by phone (1-888-693-3211) and fax (1-888-693-3210).
Tip: If you choose to fax MedSolutions, you must use the study- and site-specific fax forms that are available by logging in at www.medsolutionsonline.com or by contacting MedSolutions. You may also wish to make use of these fax forms to help guide you as to what clinical data will be requested if you are contacting them online or by phone.
