Pennie Cuevas, MD, MPH, joined CDPHP in 2016 and currently serves as medical director, clinical analytics integration and quality. In this role, Dr. Cuevas works on quadruple aim analytics, leveraging data to achieve improved quality, efficiency, and member and provider satisfaction.
Prior to joining CDPHP, Dr. Cuevas completed HIV research at the New York State Department of Health’s Wadsworth Center. She later became interested in medical informatics and successfully developed a computer application to educate medical students about health care costs. To further a growing interest in public health, Dr. Cuevas completed an internship at Montefiore Medical Center in internal medicine and accepted a residency position at the New York State Preventive Medicine Residency.
Dr. Cuevas earned her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from MIT, a master’s degree in biomedical informatics from the Harvard-MIT Program in Health Sciences in Technology, and a master of public health degree from the University at Albany.
