Sean Roche, MD, joined CDPHP in November 2022 and currently serves as medical director. In this role, he is involved in the award-winning CDPHP Enhanced Primary Care program and various quality improvement projects. He is also the chair of the pharmaceutical and therapeutics committee.
Prior to joining CDPHP, Dr. Roche spent 25 years in medical education and patient care. He was the long-time associate program director of the Albany Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program, as well as the medical director of the family medicine training site, Albany Family Medicine.
Dr. Roche is a proud native of the Capital Region. He attended Siena College and Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. He completed his family medicine residency at Albany Medical Center and is board certified in family medicine.
In his free time, Dr. Roche enjoys doing just about anything outdoors, including working in his garden. He also enjoys history, genealogy, and spending as much time as possible with his wife and three busy children who live and work in the area.
