ALBANY, N.Y. – July 8, 2020 – CDPHP today announced that it will continue its support for local not-for-profit organizations and communities hit hard by the effects of the COVID-19 crisis by extending weekly lunch deliveries. Over the last month, CDPHP was able to distribute 2,000 lunches to those in need.
Beginning this week, CDPHP, in conjunction with Eurest (a provider of dining services to local, regional, and national companies across the United States), will deliver 100 lunches to each of the following five locations on a weekly basis: The Saratoga Senior Center, the Schenectady YWCA, Harmony Fellowship Church, Joseph’s House, and the City of Albany Department of Recreation. Additional locations may be added throughout the remaining summer months.
A new CDPHP van will be transporting the lunches and will eventually travel the CDPHP service area to help individuals enroll in CDPHP health plans, answer benefit questions, attend community outreach events, and much more.
