Henry McDougall Neilley, MD, FAAP, joined CDPHP in April 2020 and serves as medical director, pediatrics. In this role, Dr. Neilley oversees the distinctive health needs of CDPHP members 21 years of age and younger while also working with the corporate leadership team on medical management, quality improvement, and resource management initiatives in accordance with regulatory, accreditation, and corporate policies. Dr. Neilley also co-chairs the children’s advisory committee.
Prior to joining CDPHP, Dr. Neilley served as an esteemed member of the CDPHP board of directors while also practicing at Shaker Pediatrics. Prior to his position at Shaker Pediatrics, Dr. Neilley was part of the Schenectady Family Health Center.
Dr. Neilley is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and past president of the New York State Chapter 1 of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is president of the Capital District Pediatric Society and past chair of the Capital District Pediatric Council.
Dr. Neilley holds a BS from the College of William and Mary, an MD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and completed his pediatric residency at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts.
