New season includes more bikes, more locations, and more adventures!

ALBANY, NY (March 29, 2024) The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) and CDPHP are excited to announce that beginning today, Friday, March 29, 2024, both electric bikes (e-bikes) and pedal bikes will be available for use in Albany, Schenectady, and Troy! This is CDPHP Cycle!’s earliest launch ever. After this weekend’s launch, over the next few weeks, bikes will be added to other areas in the Capital Region, including Saratoga and points north.

During season eight, customers can expect more than 600 bikes to be available throughout the region, including 200 more e-bikes this year. There will also be more than 10 new stations added for customers to utilize, with even more options to hop on a bike! This year also includes new technology – an updated CDPHP Cycle! app will make renting a bike quicker and easier.
