CDPHP Medicare Advantage plans were again named to the U.S. News & World Report 2024 Medicare Advantage Honor Roll, affirming that they are among the highest rated in New York state and the country.
Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Stars Award
The U.S News & World Report ratings use data compiled from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to populate its comparative rankings. CMS rates plans on a scale of 1 to 5 Stars, with CDPHP HMO and PPO Medicare Advantage plans receiving 4.5 of 5 Stars.
Best Companies to Work for in NYS
In 2023, for the 15th consecutive year, the New York State Society for Human Resource Management named CDPHP one of the Best Companies to Work for in New York. The award is based on the company’s workplace policies, systems, and practices, as well as a survey, open to all employees, that measures employee engagement.
The Best Companies group also recognized CDPHP with “The Best HR Teams in America” award.
J.D. Power: CDPHP #1 in Customer Satisfaction among NY Commercial Health Plans
CDPHP was again named #1 in Customer Satisfaction among Commercial Health Plans in New York by J.D. Power, making this the third year in a row – and sixth out of the past seven years – it has received this prestigious award. The J.D. Power study measures member satisfaction among 150 health plans in 22 regions throughout the U.S., rating them according to coverage and benefits, costs, customer service, provider choice and billing and payment practices.
NCQA: 4.5 out of 5 Stars
According to recent National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Health Plan Ratings, CDPHP has some of the top-rated commercial health plans in New York state. The NCQA uses a scale of 1 to 5 to rate health plans, with 5 being the highest score and 1 being the lowest. These ratings are based on patient experience, disease prevention efforts, and treatment quality, as well as NCQA Accreditation.
Each of the following plans received a rating of 4.5: Capital Physicians’ Health Plan, Inc. – Commercial (HMO), Capital District Physicians’ Healthcare Network – Commercial (HMO/POS Combined), CDPHP Universal Benefits, Inc. – Commercial (PPO), and Capital District Physicians’ Healthcare Network – Commercial (PPO).
