Each person’s experience with menopause looks a little different. That’s why CDPHP® has the resources you need to help you manage your menopause journey with confidence. Staying active, eating healthy, and being mentally fit can help reduce your menopause symptoms.

Managing Menopause

Sometimes a little extra help can go a long way. As a CDPHP member, you may be eligible for personalized support to help you manage menopause. Get access to daily articles and tips, unlimited one-on-one in-app messaging with the Ovia Health Care Team, symptom tracking, and more. Download the Ovia® app to get started.**

If you’re experiencing life-altering symptoms, you should talk to your doctor to be sure you get the support that best fits your needs.

Staying Active

You can start small with activities like walking, dancing, or tai chi. As you gain endurance, try strength training or weight-bearing exercises like climbing stairs if you’re able.

These free fitness videos offer exercises like yoga to help you stretch and strengthen, along with many other options too.

CDPHP Medicare Advantage members get a no-cost membership to SilverSneakers® for access to 15,000+ gyms and more than 200 online fitness classes.

MyFitRx™ at CDPHP® Fitness ConnectSM at the Ciccotti Center offers a personalized fitness program for people living with chronic disease, managing medical conditions, or needing additional support to improve their level of physical activity.

Many CDPHP plans offer fitness reimbursement benefits where members can get money back for working out.

Eating Healthy

A diet high in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, protein, and low- or non-fat dairy may reduce menopause symptoms.

Sign in to the CDPHP Health Hub to browse the Nutrition Guide for healthy, delicious recipes and help organize your grocery list.

Take the guesswork out of healthy eating with a personalized, telenutrition visit with a registered dietitian.*

Many CDPHP plans offer weight management reimbursement for participating in qualified weight management programs or meeting with a registered dietitian.**

Being Mentally Fit

Going through menopause can be an emotional time. Staying connected to those important to you and practicing mindfulness and meditation can help. But if you need additional assistance, CDPHP is here to support your mental health needs. Call 1-888-320-9584 if you need assistance finding mental health care.
